Circular Economy: Asepto's Role in Sustainability

Circular Economy: Asepto's Role in Sustainability

In today's world, the importance of sustainability cannot be overstated. With environmental concerns on the rise, businesses increasingly recognise the need to adopt circular economy principles to reduce waste and promote resource efficiency. Asepto, a leading player in aseptic carton packaging, is at the forefront of this movement, actively contributing to the circular economy and promoting environmental sustainability.

At Asepto, the journey towards sustainability begins with the segregation of waste aseptic cartons. This segregation process utilizes high-quality machines to shred and separate paper pulp and aluminium through enzyme dosing. This meticulous process ensures that materials are properly sorted for efficient recycling.

The next step in the process is reclaiming, where segregated paper pulp and aluminium particles are reclaimed and assembled in separate chambers, adjusting their consistency for further processing. This careful handling ensures that materials are processed effectively, minimizing waste and maximizing resource utilization.

One of the significant outcomes of this reclaiming process is the creation of a composite board. Through the Enzymatic Delamination Technology (EDT) process, paper boards and aluminium sheets are processed separately, forming durable materials that contribute to the circular economy. These composite boards find application in various products, including egg trays and alu-poly rooftops, which are made from reprocessed used aseptic cartons. By repurposing materials and creating new products, Asepto is closing the loop on waste and actively contributing to the circular economy.

Sustainability is not just a buzzword at Asepto. The company’s commitment to sustainability goes beyond just business operations; it reflects a deeper ethos of responsibility towards the environment and future generations. Through innovative processes and product development, Asepto is paving the way for a more sustainable future, where waste is minimized, resources are conserved, and the circular economy thrives.
